Hyderabad All Set for Grand Sri Ram Navami Celebrations Tomorrow

Hyderabad: The city is gearing up to celebrate Sri Ram Navami with great fervour and religious devotion on Sunday. Preparations are underway across major temples, particularly those dedicated to Lord Rama and Lord Hanuman, with temples freshly painted and adorned with bright lights and floral decorations.
Among the key highlights is the elaborate Sita Rama Kalyanam ceremony at the historic Sitarambagh Temple in Mangalhat. The temple authorities have made extensive arrangements to host the celestial wedding, which is expected to draw thousands of devotees from across the city.
Besides temples, numerous residential welfare associations and individual households have also planned to conduct the Kalyanam in their respective localities, marking the day as auspicious for invoking divine blessings for health, prosperity, and spiritual well-being.
Shobha Yatra to Mark Festive Spirit
Following the Kalyanam at Sitarambagh, a Shobha Yatra (religious procession) will commence from the temple premises and pass through several prominent city routes. The procession will cover Puranapool Gandhi Statue, Jummerath Bazaar, Siddiamber Bazaar, Afzalgunj, Gowliguda, and Koti Andhra Bank cross roads before culminating at the Hanuman Vyamshala Ground.
To ensure smooth conduct of the Yatra, city police have made robust security arrangements. Over 20,000 police personnel will be deployed along the procession route. Additionally, drone surveillance and CCTV monitoring will be in place to maintain law and order and assist with crowd control.
Authorities have requested citizens to cooperate and follow traffic advisories issued for the day. The celebrations are expected to proceed with a spirit of devotion, discipline, and collective enthusiasm.
