Hyderabad: BTech Student Dies of Cardiac Arrest During College Cricket Match

Hyderabad: A 22-year-old final-year BTech student from Khammam district died after suffering a cardiac arrest while participating in a cricket match held at CMR College in Medchal on Friday.
The incident occurred during an inter-departmental tournament organised on the college grounds. According to sources, the student, whose identity has been withheld pending family confirmation, collapsed on the field mid-match. Onlookers and teammates immediately rushed to his aid.
He was shifted to a nearby hospital in critical condition, where doctors declared him brought dead. Preliminary reports indicate a sudden cardiac arrest as the cause of death.
