Decomposed Body of Woman Found Inside Sump at Hyderabad Apartment

A decomposed body of a woman aged between 25 and 30 was discovered inside a sump tank of a residential apartment complex in Domalguda on Monday.

Residents alerted police after a foul smell emerged from the basement water storage area. The body was removed by the forensic team and sent to Osmania Hospital for post-mortem examination.

Police suspect foul play and have registered a case of murder. The identity of the victim is yet to be confirmed, though officials believe she may have been a domestic worker employed nearby.

CCTV footage and building entry records are being reviewed. Local residents have demanded enhanced surveillance in residential complexes.
