RSS Conducts Arms Training Camp at Christian College in Kerala, Sparks Outrage

An arms training camp conducted by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) at the Mar Ivanios College ground in Kerala’s capital has sparked massive protests across student and political circles.
Videos showing uniformed men holding mock rifles and performing drills on campus surfaced online, prompting outrage among students, who claimed they were never informed about such an event.
College authorities have stated they were unaware of the nature of the training and believed it to be a physical education activity. Student unions have demanded a state-level inquiry into how the premises were used for ideological drills.
Opposition leaders accused the government of turning a blind eye to “militarised ideological intrusion” into educational spaces. The state education department has sought a report from the college management.
