Gold Rates in Hyderabad Cross ₹1 Lakh Mark Amid Wedding Season 2025

Gold prices in Hyderabad have touched a record high of over ₹1,01,280 per 10 grams for 24-carat gold, largely driven by soaring wedding season demand and rising international rates.

Bullion traders reported an uptick in bookings at city jewellers, with many families advancing purchases fearing further price hikes. In some shops, rates even climbed to ₹1,03,000 depending on design premiums.

According to local jewellers, apart from demand, geopolitical tension and a weak rupee contributed to the rally. The increase in interest rates globally is also pushing more investors toward safe-haven assets like gold.

Retailers expect the trend to continue until Akshaya Tritiya in May.
