Pakistani Man Held in Hyderabad for Illegal Entry via Nepal

A Pakistani national was arrested by Hyderabad police for allegedly entering India illegally through Nepal, officials confirmed on Friday.
The man, identified as Asghar Ali, 28, was apprehended near the Charminar area during a routine security check.
Police sources said Ali had no valid travel documents or visa required for legal entry into Indian territory.
Preliminary interrogation revealed that Ali crossed the Indo-Nepal border on foot before traveling to Hyderabad by train.
Authorities have registered a case under the Foreigners Act and are investigating the possibility of any larger network.
Security agencies are now verifying Ali’s background and checking for any previous criminal or terror links.
The arrest has raised concerns regarding porous borders and heightened vigilance at key transit points.
Ali is currently in judicial custody and is likely to be deported after due legal proceedings are completed.
Hyderabad police officials assured that there was no immediate threat linked to his presence in the city.
Further investigation is underway to determine his motives and any local contacts he may have established.
