Family Feud Turns Ugly – Manchu Manoj Denied Entry to Home After Car Theft Allegation Against Brother Vishnu

Hyderabad – The ongoing rift in the Manchu film family turned dramatic on Wednesday as actor Manchu Manoj was denied entry into his father Mohan Babu’s residence in Jalpally, just a day after filing a police complaint accusing his elder brother Manchu Vishnu of car theft and assault.

In visuals now circulating widely, Manoj is seen sitting in protest outside the locked gate, accompanied later by his wife Bhuma Mounika, while a notice board warned against unauthorised entry. Despite claiming he had court permission to enter, the security staff reportedly refused him access.

Massive Police Deployment at Residence

Anticipating tension, Pahadishareef police deployed a heavy force and set up a picket outside the property. This comes in the wake of serious allegations by Manoj, who stated that Vishnu and his aides forcibly entered his home, damaged belongings, and towed away vehicles earlier this month.

“This isn’t about property. I’ve told my father I don’t want a share. This is about truth and about the students of Mohan Babu University,” said Manoj, speaking to the media outside the gate.

He further alleged that despite the High Court granting him permission to stay, his brother’s legal team misled the court and obtained a stay to block his access. Manoj challenged the family to release CCTV footage, claiming it would expose the violence and intimidation he faced.

Longstanding Family Dispute Escalates

The feud isn’t new. It began in late 2024, allegedly over property disagreements. Both Manoj and Vishnu have filed complaints against each other. Their father, Mohan Babu, had also accused Manoj of illegally occupying property, invoking the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act to seek protection.

On February 3, the father-son duo clashed publicly in front of the Rangareddy District Collector, exchanging heated words over land ownership. The issue reached the courts, police stations, and even the gates of Mohan Babu University in Tirupati, where Manoj was stopped by police from entering in January.

Legal Charges Pile Up

Several criminal cases have been filed, including:

• House trespass and criminal intimidation
• Voluntarily causing hurt
• Violation of bond conditions
• Attempt to murder (against Mohan Babu) for allegedly attacking a television reporter during a confrontation

Both Vishnu and Manoj have appeared before the Rachakonda Police Commissioner, while the family drama continues to unravel in full public view.
