Rowdy Sheeter Injured After Altercation with Vendors in Rajendranagar

Hyderabad: A rowdy sheeter, identified as Bharath, sustained serious injuries after being attacked by a group of locals at Rajendranagar late on Friday night. The incident occurred following an altercation with pushcart vendors near a busy junction.

According to police sources, Bharath, against whom multiple criminal cases are registered at the Rajendranagar Police Station, allegedly instigated a dispute with street vendors over a minor issue. Eyewitnesses said he verbally abused and physically assaulted several of them, damaging their carts in the process.

In retaliation, a group of vendors confronted Bharath and reportedly assaulted him. He collapsed on the spot due to the injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment. His condition is stated to be critical.

The Rajendranagar police have registered a case and are probing the incident. They are reviewing CCTV footage from the area and recording statements from witnesses as part of the investigation.

Authorities have assured that appropriate legal action will be taken based on the outcome of the inquiry.
