Man Dies of Cardiac Arrest While Playing Cricket on Hyderabad’s Outskirts

Hyderabad | April 21, 2025: A 32-year-old man identified as M Praneeth, a resident of Old Bowenpally, collapsed and died from a suspected cardiac arrest while playing cricket at Rampally Dayara in Keesara on Sunday.
Praneeth, a private sector employee, was participating in a friendly cricket match at Tyagi Sports Venue Ground when he complained of severe chest pain and collapsed mid-game.
His teammates immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.
While preliminary reports confirm cardiac arrest as the likely cause, Keesara police have begun an investigation. No foul play has been suspected, and the family has not raised any concerns over the sudden demise.
The incident has once again raised concerns about young adults’ heart health, especially during intensive physical activity.
