On April 8, the Dwajarohanam will officially launch the festival, as the Garuda flag is hoisted high, signifying the arrival of auspiciousness and the divine presence of Lord Balaji.
Key Events in Brahmotsavam 2025:
- April 10: Kalyanotsavam – the divine celestial wedding of Lord Balaji, a spiritually significant ritual for couples and families seeking blessings for harmony and fertility.
- April 12: Rathotsavam – the majestic chariot procession where devotees pull the deity’s vehicle through temple streets.
- April 13: Ashwavahanam – Lord Balaji is paraded on the sacred horse mount, a ritual symbolizing strength and divine command.

Devotee Guidelines & Special Notes:
- Garuda Prasadam, often sought by women praying for childbirth, will not be distributed during April. However, beginning May 2025, it will be made available every Friday throughout the year.
- Women seeking the prasadam are advised to reach the temple by 9:00 AM on Fridays.
- Chief priest CS Rangarajan noted that last year’s distribution saw thousands of women receive the offering, with many reporting divine blessings in the months that followed.
The Chilkur Balaji Brahmotsavam 2025 is expected to draw thousands of devotees from across Telangana and neighboring states, with daily homas, vibrant street processions, and deeply rooted Vedic rituals being observed with grandeur and devotion.
