Operation Sindoor Outreach: Second all-Party delegation departs for UAE

India’s Operation Sindoor Outreach continues its diplomatic mission with the departure of the second all-party delegation, led by Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde, from New Delhi on May 21, 2025. This initiative aims to present India’s firm stance against terrorism and highlight Pakistan’s alleged involvement in supporting terror activities.
The delegation’s itinerary includes visits to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Liberia, Congo, and Sierra Leone. Accompanying MP Shinde are BJP MPs Bansuri Swaraj, Atul Garg, and Manan Kumar Mishra; Biju Janata Dal’s Sasmit Patra; Indian Union Muslim League’s E.T. Mohammed Basheer; former Union Minister S.S. Ahluwalia; and former diplomat Sujan Chinoy .
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri briefed the delegation members on India’s “new normal” in countering cross-border terrorism, emphasizing that India will no longer tolerate terror attacks on its soil and will respond decisively
The delegation is expected to meet with government officials, lawmakers, and civil society leaders in the UAE and the African nations to present evidence of Pakistan’s involvement in terrorism and advocate for a unified global approach to combat terror
This outreach is part of a broader diplomatic effort following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack and the subsequent Operation Sindoor, which targeted terror launchpads across the Line of Control. The initiative underscores India’s commitment to a zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism and seeks to strengthen international support in isolating Pakistan and its terror-backed groups.
