The accused, Muddangula Gangadhar, a resident of Bodhan, had been working in Dubai while his wife, Anjali, and their two young daughters resided in Armur town for the children’s education. Gangadhar, reportedly suspicious of his wife’s fidelity, recently traveled from Dubai to confront her.

On the morning of the incident, Gangadhar confronted Anjali at their home, accusing her of an extramarital affair. The confrontation escalated when he allegedly slashed her throat and repeatedly stabbed her, despite the children’s screams. Anjali collapsed and died on the spot.

This case adds to a series of similar incidents in the region, where individuals have resorted to violence over suspicions of infidelity. Authorities are urging the public to seek counseling and legal avenues to resolve marital issues peacefully.

The police are continuing their investigation to determine the full circumstances surrounding the crime and to ensure justice is served.
