In terms of box office earnings, Dangal (2016), starring Aamir Khan, holds the top spot among Bollywood films. The film grossed over ₹2,000 crore worldwide, with a significant portion of its earnings coming from China, where it resonated deeply with audiences .

Other notable films include Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), which sold approximately 11 crore tickets, and Jawan (2023), which sold around 3.7 crore tickets
