US Vice President JD Vance Visits Jaipur’s Amber Fort With Family

US Vice President JD Vance, accompanied by his wife Usha Chilukuri Vance and their three children, visited the iconic Amber Fort in Jaipur on Monday as part of their cultural tour during a four-day diplomatic visit to India.

The Vice President and his family were welcomed by Rajasthan officials and given a guided tour of the 16th-century fort, known for its Rajput architecture and panoramic views.

Vance’s children were seen enjoying the elephant ride, while Usha Vance, who has roots in Andhra Pradesh, interacted with local artisans and school children.

The visit was arranged to promote cultural exchange between the US and India. Sources say the Vance family was particularly impressed by the Sheesh Mahal and the fort’s conservation efforts.

Vance’s India itinerary includes meetings in New Delhi and Agra. His team has emphasized strengthening bilateral cooperation in trade, education, and heritage preservation.
