PM Modi Awards Adilabad Collector as Narnoor Tops Aspirational Block Rankings

Prime Minister Narendra Modi awarded the Adilabad district collector at the 17th Civil Services Day event after Narnoor block was declared the top performer under India’s Aspirational Blocks Programme.
The recognition was based on health, education, agriculture, and basic infrastructure indicators. The PM praised the efforts of local administrators who turned a tribal-dominated region into a model of last-mile delivery.
The collector said the recognition would boost morale of field teams working in remote areas and committed to sustaining progress across other tribal blocks in Telangana.
The event also included felicitation of top-performing IAS officers from different states.
